Minnesota: Eric Decker Sets Record; Huts Ankle

Update:
With less than one minute left in the first half of Minnesota's matchup with California, Decker grabbed a school record 199th reception, this a 12 yard touchdown from quarterback Adam Weber. However, he left Minnesota's final drive due to an apparent left ankle injury. He finished with eight receptions for 122 yards and two touchdowns.

Recommendation:
Decker has proven one of the most prolific wide receivers ever to play in the Big Ten Conference; that he made the record-breaking play on a touchdown seems only fitting. His injury didn't look too serious, but check his progress the next few days

Stars show up for both teams in Best, Decker

MINNEAPOLIS -- The two best players in this game have showed up big time in the first half, adding some flavor to the Cal-Minnesota matchup.

Golden Gophers wide receiver Eric Decker answered Jahvid Best's third touchdown run with his second receiving score, as he beat cornerback Darian Hagan to the end zone. Two of Decker's three catches have gone for touchdowns, while Best has 13 carries for 114 rush yards.

Who lifts his team to victory? We'll find out in the second half.
