21-year-old track star and University of Florida junior Charles Clark has secured a spot in Thursday’s 200m final at the 12th IAAF World Championship in Athletics in Berlin. The Seminole, who is referred to as ‘Superman’ on campus, wore red, white and blue facepaint during Wednesday's semifinal race, in which he placed third. He will be joined by US athletes Wallace Spearmon and Shawn Crawford in the final lineup. Jamaica’s Usain Bolt is predicted to win and possibly repeat the excitement he caused when he beat the 100m record. Bolt currently holds the 200m world record at 19:30 seconds.The 200m final starts at 8:35 local time (2:35 EST). Clark, a Virginia Beach, Va. native, will be positioned in lane seven. Bolt will be just two lanes to his left in lane five.
