Project Runway's second episode on Lifetime gave the designers a little twist -- not only would they be designing a look for an "actual" celebrity, but it would be for Rebecca Romijn...who is pregnant. Rebecca tells the designers that fashions for pregnant woman are hard to find, especially if you want something that is still form fitting.
The designers were off, and when Tim checked in on them early in day 2, he was not impressed with the outfits they'd started. The models came in "fake pregnant" to try out the outfits, but didn't really give an accurate feel for how the outfit would look on a woman actually pregnant.
Day 3 was the runway show. There were some outfits that looked pretty good (Shirin's, for example), but Mitchell's was hideous. The judges also didn't like Ra'mon's or Malvin's designs.
In the end, Malvin's burlap sack looking dress was the end of him, and Heidi sent him home.
