Kidnapped girl spent 18 years as US Fritzl’s sex slave

Washington, Aug 28 (ANI): A California woman found after being abducted 18 years ago had two children by her alleged kidnapper, police say.
Jaycee Lee Dugard was kidnapped in 1991 while waiting for a school bus.
She had been given up for dead after being snatched outside her home in California aged just 11.
However, recently, Jaycee, now 29, “miraculously” walked into a police station in the US, reports FOX News.In a chilling echo of the Josef Fritzl case in Austria it also emerged that she had two children by her abductor.
At a news conference, the El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office said, Dugard was being kept with the two children in a series of tents and sheds hidden behind the Antioch, Calif., home of Phillip (alleged abductor), 58, and Nancy Garrido (his wife), 55.
The two sheds - which measured 10ft x 10ft - were hidden from view down a narrow garden passageway by tall fencing.
Dugard and her two daughters are “in good health, but living in a backyard for the past 18 years does take its toll,” Undersheriff Fred Kollar said.
The Garridos were arrested WednesdayJaycee’s children are girls aged 15 and 11. She gave birth to the first when aged just 14.
The case recalls the case of Elisabeth Frizl, an Austrian who was imprisoned by her own father for 24 years in an improvised dungeon beneath the family home, where she was repeatedly raped and bore Josef Fritzl seven children three of whom she raised in the dungeon while three were taken upstairs to live “normal” lives. The seventh died soon after birth.
Elisabeth’s plight was only uncovered after she slipped a note in the pocket of her daughter Kerstin’s pocket when she went for treatment at a local hospital. Josef was sentenced to life in jail in March this year
